Childhood...

Childhood... undoubtedly the best period of ones life. No tensions, no worries, no stress. When we were kids, we din't had to please anyone or prove ourselves to anyone. We could just be ourselves and we were accepted or rather do I say we did not care if we were accepted.

Going to school dressed in our uniforms, waiting for the school bus or just walking our way to school, and yes how can I forget the assembly where we said our daily prayers, thanking God for the lovely morning. Waiting for our favorite periods and hoping our not-so-favorite periods (read teachers) to finish soon. Getting punished for not doing our homework because we were busy watching TV and hoping the teacher won't check, Getting caught eating our neighbor's box before the lunch break, feeling sleepy post lunch, waiting for the last bell, rushing back home.

It used to be so much fun. I wish I was a kid again. Hmmm can't help it though.

I wonder.......

I wonder why we fail to realize the importance of being alive.
I wonder why we expect things from someone when we don't live up to their expectations.
I wonder why love comes with so much pain.
I wonder why we fall in love again despite having a heart break.
I wonder why we expect someone to change when we can't.
I wonder why we overlook simple happiness in our quest for bigger ones.
I wonder why we hang on to someone's past to decide whether to love him/her or not.
I wonder why someone's past becomes a barrier in a relationship.
I wonder why we expect a second chance from someone when we don't give it when expected.

Every time we think that we are getting used to life, life takes a turn. It's hard some times to keep expecting things to get normal. But at the end, we just have to go on. They say 'Life is a roller coaster ride', so true!

Save our Tigers

It's a shock that we have just 1411 Tigers left in India. 2009 had been the worst year for the tigers in India with 86 deaths reported. Are the poachers alone responsible for our National Animal nearing extinction or the entire humankind? Will our future generation accept it to be our National Animal if it doesn't even exist? To what extent more will we exploit our wild life for our own selfishness? Do we human beings only have the right to live on earth? God created such a beautiful world with the perfect balance of our ecosystems. Remember the ecosystem diagram from our biology textbook? How would that diagram look like with the Big Cat missing? Awful, isn't it? Let us all join hands together and do our part in stopping these inhuman activities.

Spread the message and share your concern by writing blogs, sending SMS or posting in social networking sites. Let us do something in saving this part of our heritage. Aircel has partnered with WWF-India to help save our tigers. Explore the site to know how you can support this cause.
