I walk alone...

When nothing in life seems to be alright, how do I convince myself that everything will be fine?

When nothing in life seems to be working the way I want it to, how do I believe that things will change?

When the thing I really want seems out of reach, should I wait for it to come to me or just move on?

How do I see what's in store for me when my eyes are moist with tears?

How do I believe that someone's beside me when I am walking the streets alone & there's no one holding my hand?

How do I fight loneliness if that's the only thing I've got which I can call mine?

The most weird thing in this world - Love!

Love is the most weird thing in this world. It seems so beautiful when it is new, but eventually turns out to be a pain. Despite knowing this, we still fall in love. Its hard to decide if love is insane or we are.

When we love someone blindly, we tend to overlook the reality & believe only in fantasies. The first look, the first touch, the first kiss, the first rain all seems so beautiful! We just can't get enough of the person! And then gradually we start feeling that we own the person completely. We want to know where our guy/gal is, what is he/she doing, why din't he/she call yet? Thats when we start interfering into our love's personal space. Your love gives it back to you by doing the same thing. Then you eventually realize that you actually take each other for granted. In between these stupid things we do not realize that love is not about interfering into each others lives. Its about giving each other the much needed space. When you claim that you trust your guy/gal, stick to it by letting the person be just as he/she is.

Love isn't about being with the person all the time, but feeling the person's presence even though he/she isn't in front of you. It isn't about changing the person's character but living with it come what may. It isn't about interfering into each other's lives, but giving each other enough space. Is that hard to do?

Friends....

Friends.... The name says it all...

The breathing system of one's life.
The source of smile
The ones who make a difference in our life with their presence

We rush to them when we are in trouble. We laugh with them for the silliest jokes. We cry in their arms when in sorrow. They are the ones who know us better than our parents. We do not have to worry about being accepted as we are accepted the way we are. We might be the worst thing in the world but for them, it doesn't make a difference. When we are in love, they say, "Again?". When we have a heartbreak they say, "You deserve better than him/her. He/she isn't worth your tears". There are times when we feel that we are not worth any happiness but our friends make us realize that we are worth every happiness in the world.

What will we do without friends? I just can't do anything. Dedicated to all my friends who have made a difference in my life with their existence. Love you all. Ummaah!!!

Childhood...

Childhood... undoubtedly the best period of ones life. No tensions, no worries, no stress. When we were kids, we din't had to please anyone or prove ourselves to anyone. We could just be ourselves and we were accepted or rather do I say we did not care if we were accepted.

Going to school dressed in our uniforms, waiting for the school bus or just walking our way to school, and yes how can I forget the assembly where we said our daily prayers, thanking God for the lovely morning. Waiting for our favorite periods and hoping our not-so-favorite periods (read teachers) to finish soon. Getting punished for not doing our homework because we were busy watching TV and hoping the teacher won't check, Getting caught eating our neighbor's box before the lunch break, feeling sleepy post lunch, waiting for the last bell, rushing back home.

It used to be so much fun. I wish I was a kid again. Hmmm can't help it though.

I wonder.......

I wonder why we fail to realize the importance of being alive.
I wonder why we expect things from someone when we don't live up to their expectations.
I wonder why love comes with so much pain.
I wonder why we fall in love again despite having a heart break.
I wonder why we expect someone to change when we can't.
I wonder why we overlook simple happiness in our quest for bigger ones.
I wonder why we hang on to someone's past to decide whether to love him/her or not.
I wonder why someone's past becomes a barrier in a relationship.
I wonder why we expect a second chance from someone when we don't give it when expected.

Every time we think that we are getting used to life, life takes a turn. It's hard some times to keep expecting things to get normal. But at the end, we just have to go on. They say 'Life is a roller coaster ride', so true!

Save our Tigers

It's a shock that we have just 1411 Tigers left in India. 2009 had been the worst year for the tigers in India with 86 deaths reported. Are the poachers alone responsible for our National Animal nearing extinction or the entire humankind? Will our future generation accept it to be our National Animal if it doesn't even exist? To what extent more will we exploit our wild life for our own selfishness? Do we human beings only have the right to live on earth? God created such a beautiful world with the perfect balance of our ecosystems. Remember the ecosystem diagram from our biology textbook? How would that diagram look like with the Big Cat missing? Awful, isn't it? Let us all join hands together and do our part in stopping these inhuman activities.

Spread the message and share your concern by writing blogs, sending SMS or posting in social networking sites. Let us do something in saving this part of our heritage. Aircel has partnered with WWF-India to help save our tigers. Explore the site to know how you can support this cause.
